Post-Field Trip Family Activities and Survey

Discover what your student explored during their recent Field Trip to Discovery Museum, and reinforce their learning. 

Our Discovery at Home activities, available in eight languages, provide guidance for hands-on activities to try at home using simple household materials or items found outside for exploring science. These activities explore some of the same science concepts that our exhibits and galleries are based upon.

If your child enjoyed the Field Trip visit here with their class, she or he would likely enjoy a follow-up visit here with you! A follow-up visit builds upon the learning experience, encourages a deeper level of understanding, and supports a general excitement and confidence for “doing” science—and, your child can be your guide for the visit! We have lots of fun, hands-on exhibits that invite children and caregivers to investigate the world around them.

Please consider helping your child to complete a very short survey about their experience, and as a Thank You we will send you a coupon via email with two weeks that will admit one person to the Museum for free when purchasing a full-price admission. The survey provides meaningful feedback that helps us to shape future workshop experiences.
